Security and data
What we do to protect your data and your customers' data, stated plainly. Only what is true today is on this page.
Protection
- Every exchange with the site and the service is encrypted in transit (HTTPS, with HSTS).
- An encrypted copy of the database is made every day, stored separately, used only to restore the service after an incident, and erased after 14 days.
- The client and owner areas require authentication; access to data is limited to the people and systems that need it.
- This website loads no third-party script: no advertising tracker, no audience measurement, no session recording.
Your data
- Clients own their data. We act as their processor and use it only to run their service, on their instructions.
- A full export in a standard format is available on request.
- When a contract ends, data stays readable for 60 days, then identifiable data is deleted within 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.
- Our providers, what each does and where data is located are listed in our privacy policy.
AI rules
- Assistants never pretend to be human and say they are an AI when asked.
- We never send conversations to an AI provider so that it can train its models, and we refuse provider retention wherever it is offered.
- WhatsApp conversations only ever improve the assistant of the business they belong to; they are never pooled across clients.
- To improve our service we keep only de-identified text: names, numbers, emails, identifiers and business names are removed first.
Calls
- Call audio is processed live to understand and answer, and is not recorded.
- A written transcript is kept for follow-up, under the rules in the privacy policy.
Incidents
- No measure is infallible. If a breach is likely to put people's rights at risk, we inform the people concerned and the competent authorities, as the law requires.
