First enquiries handled with discretion while you are in court or at a signing
Law firms and notaries
Nolloi gives a law firm or notary office an AI front desk that answers new and existing clients by phone, on WhatsApp and by email, at any hour. It notes the type of matter, sends the documents list you approved, offers consultation slots from your calendar and files a clean summary in your team app. It never gives legal advice, never runs a conflict check on its own, and passes deadlines and urgent matters to a person straight away.
WhatsApp messages and WhatsApp calls are covered by the standard plans. Your own phone lines, email and website chat are connected in a custom deployment, scoped with you.
How requests arrive
You are unreachable when clients write
Hearings, signings and client meetings fill the day. Someone who needs a lawyer or a notary writes in the middle of it and expects at least an acknowledgment before trying another office.
First messages are rarely precise
"I have a problem with my inheritance" or "I want to buy a flat". Turning that into a matter type, the parties involved and the papers to bring usually takes several exchanges.
A few messages cannot wait until evening
A summons with a hearing date, an appeal window about to close, a signing tomorrow with a missing document. These must reach a lawyer or the notary today, not sit in a queue.
How it works in your business
The person explains, in their own words
In writing or by voice note, in any language. The assistant says plainly that it cannot give legal advice, then asks what the matter concerns.
It identifies the type of matter
Family, employment, property, a commercial dispute, a company formation, a sale, a succession, a power of attorney: using the categories your office defined, one question at a time.
It notes what a lawyer will need
The other parties the person names, the key dates and any deadline they have been given. The conflict check itself is run by your team before anything is confirmed.
It offers a consultation or hands over
For a matter you take, it proposes slots from your calendar and sends the documents list for that type. When a deadline is close, it passes the conversation to the person you named, immediately.
The summary waits in your app
One entry per enquiry: matter type, parties, dates, documents mentioned, booked slot. Each lawyer, clerk or assistant sees the enquiries their role allows.
What it sounds like
- CustomerGood evening. My father passed away last month and we need to deal with his flat. My brother lives abroad. What do we do?
- AI assistantGood evening, and I am sorry for your loss. I am the office's assistant: I can't give legal advice, but I can arrange a first meeting with the notary and tell you what to bring. Is the flat the main asset in the succession?
- CustomerYes, and a bank account. Can my brother sign from abroad?
- AI assistantThat is a question for the notary, and I have noted it for the meeting. The office asks you to bring the death certificate, documents showing who the heirs are, the title deed of the flat and your ID. Would Monday at 10:00 or Tuesday at 15:30 suit you?
- CustomerTuesday at 15:30.
- AI assistantBooked for Tuesday at 15:30. I have noted: succession, a flat and a bank account, one heir living abroad, a question about signing remotely. You will receive a reminder the day before.

Always handed to a person
Always handed to a person
- Any request for an opinion: what the person's rights are, whether they would win, what they should sign.
- Deadlines and urgent matters, passed on at once: a summons, a hearing date, an expiring appeal period, a signing tomorrow.
- The conflict check: the assistant notes the parties, a person at the firm runs the check and decides.
- Fees and engagement terms beyond what the office approved for sharing.
- Existing clients asking how their case is going, and any message from a court, an authority or another lawyer.
What you decide at setup
- The types of matter or deed you handle, and those you decline or refer elsewhere.
- The documents list for each type, written the way you want clients to read it.
- Consultation slots for each lawyer or notary, and how long a first meeting lasts.
- Who receives urgent matters, and how they are alerted.
- What the assistant may say about consultation fees, if anything.

Capabilities in detail
The firm's inbox, sorted before you walk out of the hearing
Email is where formal requests reach a firm: website enquiries, clients replying with questions, notices that carry a date. Nolloi's email assistant handles your incoming mail, sorts it by type, answers first enquiries with your approved intake questions and documents list, and puts anything with a deadline in front of a lawyer at once. It is built in a custom deployment, scoped with your firm, alongside the WhatsApp assistant of the standard plans.
Learn moreConsultations booked in your calendar, with the right papers on the table
A first meeting achieves little when the client arrives without the deed, the contract or the court letter. Nolloi books consultations on WhatsApp inside the hours each lawyer or notary opens, sends the documents list for that kind of matter, records the meeting in your calendar and reminds the client beforehand. Where your firm prefers, the assistant takes the request and a person confirms the slot after the conflict check.

What owners ask us
Clients will think we are cutting corners.
The assistant introduces itself, says it is an AI when asked, and does reception work only: noting, scheduling, sending a documents list. The legal work stays visibly yours. A prompt acknowledgment usually reassures a worried client more than silence until evening.
Confidentiality is not negotiable in our profession.
Agreed. The contract names you as owner of the data and us as your processor, and conversations serve only to run your assistant. Your firm decides which staff see which enquiries, and you can export everything whenever you ask.
What if it says something that sounds like advice?
Its rules forbid it. It does not interpret facts, assess chances or explain procedure beyond what you approved, such as which documents to bring. When a question calls for an opinion, it notes it for the lawyer and tells the person so.
Our matters are too varied for a script.
It does not read from a script. You give it your matter types and their documents lists; it asks the follow-up questions a careful receptionist would, in the person's own words and language, and sends anything unusual to a person.
Which plan fits
Essentiel suits a lawyer or notary working alone or with one assistant. Business OS fits a firm with several lawyers, clerks and matter types: it adds live answering of WhatsApp calls and builds your document types into the app. Prestige is for a firm with several offices, each with its own number and calendar, overseen together.
Questions
Does it give legal advice?
Never. It explains what to bring and when you are available. Questions about rights, chances, procedure or what to sign are noted for a lawyer or the notary, and the person is told plainly that a professional will answer them.
Can it check for conflicts of interest?
No. It records the names of the other parties the person mentions, so your team can run the conflict check before a consultation is confirmed. The decision is always made by a person at the firm.
What happens when a client mentions an urgent deadline?
You set the rule at setup. Usually a hearing date, a summons or a closing deadline sends the conversation to the named lawyer at once, and the client is told that someone from the firm will come back to them.
Can it answer our office email or phone line?
The standard plans cover WhatsApp, including live answering of WhatsApp calls on Business OS and Prestige. An email assistant for your inbox and an AI phone agent on your own lines are built in a custom deployment, with the same rules.
Does it suit notarial work as well as litigation?
Yes. Sales, successions, gifts, company formations, marriage contracts and powers of attorney each get their own documents list and meeting length, and the assistant sends the list that matches the deed.
Let's talk about your business.
One message is enough. We answer on WhatsApp or by email, and you decide what happens next.
