Booking the right doctor, in the right schedule
AI appointment booking
In a clinic with several doctors, booking is mostly about routing. Nolloi asks which doctor or specialty the patient wants, applies your rule when they are unsure, offers free slots in that doctor's own schedule and records the booking. The confirmation and the reminder carry the preparation your team wrote for that consultation, so patients arrive with the right documents.
A typical situation
Daniel writes for his father, who is 78 and needs a follow-up with the endocrinologist and a blood test the same morning. The clinic's rule says the blood test comes first, fasting, at least an hour before the consultation. The assistant offers Tuesday, the sample at 8:00 and the endocrinologist at 9:30, books both, and sends the instructions the lab approved: fasting from midnight, previous results, the current treatment list. When Daniel asks whether his father should take his morning tablets, the assistant says that is a question for the doctor and passes it to staff.
Example
- CustomerGood evening, I need to book my father's endocrinology follow-up, and he also needs a blood test. Can it be the same morning?
- AI assistantGood evening. Yes. The clinic asks for the blood test first, fasting, at least an hour before the consultation. On Tuesday I can offer the test at 8:00 and the endocrinologist at 9:30. Would that work?
- CustomerPerfect. Should he take his morning tablets before the test?
- AI assistantThat is a question for his doctor, so I've passed it to the medical secretariat, and they will answer you here. For the booking, what is your father's name?
- CustomerYoussef.
- AI assistantThank you. Youssef is booked on Tuesday: blood test at 8:00, endocrinologist at 9:30. Monday's reminder will list what to bring: his previous results, his treatment list and his insurance card.

How it works
Each doctor, their own schedule
At setup, each doctor's consultation days, hours and appointment lengths are set: a first visit longer than a follow-up, a procedure longer still. A doctor who works at the clinic only some days simply has slots on those days.
Routing without diagnosing
If the patient names a doctor or a specialty, the assistant books it. If they describe symptoms and ask where to go, it does not choose for them: it follows your rule, for instance a general practitioner first, or a callback from the secretariat.
Linked bookings
When a consultation needs a test first, or two appointments on the same day, the assistant offers times that respect the order and the gap your team defined, then records both.
Preparation travels with the booking
The confirmation and the reminder you chose include what to bring and how to prepare for that consultation type. A patient who asks about the instructions themselves is passed to staff.
What you decide
What you decide
- Each doctor's days, hours and appointment lengths, by consultation type.
- Your routing rule when a patient does not know which doctor to see.
- Consultations that need a test or another appointment first, with the order and the gap.
- The preparation text for each consultation type, written and approved by your medical team.
- Which appointments may be booked directly, and which stay requests for the secretariat.
What it does not do
- It never chooses a specialty from symptoms, and never says whether someone should be seen urgently.
- It does not answer questions about medication, exceptions to the instructions or results: those go to staff.
- It does not book outside a doctor's schedule or squeeze a patient into a full slot, even when asked to.
- It does not handle insurance approvals or payments.
Questions
Can it book for a family member?
Yes. The person writing can book for a child, a parent or a spouse; the assistant asks for the patient's name and records who made the booking. The reminders go to the number that booked.
What happens when a doctor cancels a clinic day?
Once the day is blocked in the calendar, the assistant stops offering it. Patients already booked on that day are handled by your team, who can see the list in the app.
Does it send preparation instructions?
Yes, the ones your team wrote for each consultation type, with the confirmation and the reminder: fasting, documents, arriving early to fill in a form. It never adapts them to a patient's situation; questions about them go to staff.
Is booking data handled as health data?
Yes. The doctor's name and the reason for a visit reveal health information, so we process them only as your processor, to run the assistant, on your instructions. If your country requires prior authorisation for health data, as Morocco does with the CNDP, booking is switched on once you have shown it.
