A WhatsApp receptionist for clinics with a busy front desk
WhatsApp AI receptionist
For a medical clinic, WhatsApp is where patients ask everything at once: hours, documents, which doctor, results. Nolloi answers that line at any hour, in the patient's language, voice notes included. It gives the practical answers your clinic approved, books in the doctors' schedules and passes every results, prescription or clinical question to the right person on your staff, written up so nobody has to ask twice.
A typical situation
Monday, 8:05. Overnight, the clinic's WhatsApp received a voice note in Darija from an older patient asking whether the eye doctor works on Wednesday, a message asking if a referral letter is needed for cardiology, two questions about blood test results and a prescription renewal request. The first two were answered during the night with the clinic's approved information, and one became a booking. The other three wait in the team app, each assigned to the right person, with the patient's words written out. The receptionist starts the day with three tasks, not seven unread chats.
Example
- CustomerHello, I had an MRI at your clinic on Thursday. Is the report ready? And what does 'mild disc protrusion' mean?
- AI assistantHello. I can't see reports or explain them, I'm sorry. I've passed both questions to the radiology secretariat, and someone from the clinic will reply to you here. What name was the MRI booked under?
- CustomerLina. Also, do I need to bring the CD when I see the orthopaedist?
- AI assistantThank you, Lina. Yes, the clinic asks patients to bring the images and the written report to a specialist consultation, with the referral letter if there is one. Would you like me to book the orthopaedist now?
- CustomerNot yet, I'll wait for the report.
- AI assistantOf course. Your request is noted for the secretariat. When you're ready, write here and I'll offer you the orthopaedist's free times.

How it works
Every message gets an answer
Text or voice note, in Arabic, Darija, French, English, Spanish or another language: the assistant replies in the same language, in the clinic's name and with the tone you chose.
Practical answers only
Hours, address, parking, which doctors work which days, accepted insurers, what to bring: the assistant answers from the information your clinic approved, and says so when it does not know.
Sensitive questions go to staff
Results, prescriptions, certificates, symptoms: the assistant does not answer them. It tells the patient that a member of staff will reply, and files the request in the team app for the person you chose.
WhatsApp calls too
A missed WhatsApp call gets an instant written reply on every plan. On Business OS and Prestige, the assistant can answer WhatsApp calls live, by voice, with the same rules as in writing.
What you decide
What you decide
- Which practical questions the assistant may answer, and the exact information it uses.
- Who on staff receives results questions, prescription renewals, certificate requests and complaints.
- Your urgent-symptom wording: emergency services, the clinic's direct number, or both.
- Whether WhatsApp calls are answered live (Business OS and Prestige) or get a written reply when missed.
- The assistant's name and tone, and the languages your patients use most.
What it does not do
- It never interprets results, reports or images, even when a patient pastes the text.
- It never renews a prescription or says whether to keep taking a medicine.
- In the standard plans it does not answer your clinic's ordinary phone line or email; those channels are set up in a custom deployment.
Questions
What does the assistant say when a patient asks about results?
That it cannot see or explain results, and that the clinic will reply. It writes the request down with the patient's name and the exam concerned, and files it for the staff member you named. It never guesses, reassures or alarms.
Can it understand voice notes from older patients?
Yes. Voice notes are understood in the patient's language, Darija included, and answered in writing in the same language. If part of it is unclear, it asks one short question rather than guessing.
What if a message describes an emergency?
It does not assess it. It tells the patient to call emergency services or the clinic directly, using the wording you approved, and flags the conversation so it is seen first.
Where do the patients' messages go?
Into your team app, sorted, with the patient's record. The data is yours; we process it as your processor to run the assistant, and you can export it. Where the law requires prior authorisation for health data, such as from the CNDP in Morocco, the line goes live once you have shown it.
Let's talk about your business.
One message is enough. We answer on WhatsApp or by email, and you decide what happens next.
